There are scams everywhere, including CBD products. You might be wondering how you can avoid the scams and buy the real deal.

1)

The first thing you do is check the color of the product. There are a lot of "innocent" people. They do not realize that hemp products come in a variety of strengths and quality. They might tell you that it has been extracted from the hemp plant, but that does not mean it is pure.

Raw

The color is either dark black or green. It did not go through anymore purification after being extracted from the plant.

Filtered

This oil has gone through the decarboxylation and filtering process. It comes in a light gold color.

The Bottom Line: A high-grade hemp oil product is like a fine wine or vodka. Three times the charm for distilling and it still keeps the purity.

2)

You should know whether or not it has been tested by an unbiased third-party. The FDA does not validate the drug. Generally speaking, there is no need for the testing, but it does come in handy. A reputable source is going to test the product to make sure it is genuine. The scammers are the ones who do not. You are most likely buying from a scammer if they did not test the product ahead of time.

3)

You need to know the THC content before you buy. Some suppliers are not as transparent about this as they should be. Is the ratio 4:1 or higher? That is a bad sign.

4)

Buy the whole plant extract or nothing at all. Nothing more needs to be said!
